Watch Out Vegas, Here mRELEVANCE Comes
It’s the “calm” (if there ever really is a calm for me), before the storm. In less than one week, I’ll be leaving the Second City and heading for the warmer temperatures and brighter lights of the City of Second Chances. That’s right, Vegas baby!
I have been invited to speak, along with a group of very talented industry marketing professionals, at the joint National Association of Home Builders International Builders Show (IBS) and National Kitchen and Bath Association’s Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS).
The show runs February 4th through the 6th and each day, I will be presenting educational sessions on the newest strategies for digital marketing in the homebuilding industry.
On Tuesday, February 4, I will present My Brother Built It, Why Doesn’t It WORK?, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for KBIS. This popular session covers the five most common reasons why websites do not produce leads, prospects or buyers.
On Wednesday, February 5, I will be joined by six other industry experts to discuss 2014?s Best Digital Marketing Tools & Tactics. This IBS session is expected to be so popular that we’ve been asked to present it twice, from 8 to 9 a.m. and again from 3 to 4 p.m. During this session, 12 of the most effective online marketing tools will be discussed and demonstrated, including: online contests, email marketing, YouTube, Facebook, mobile sites, Google+, SEO, Houzz, LinkedIn, Pinterest, blogging and Twitter.
And on Thursday, February 6, I will discuss trends in digital marketing in Beyond Facebook, Pinterest, Google+ and More; 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for KBIS attendees. This session talks about what to do after you’ve mastered Facebook, and discusses some of the overarching developments and directions of social media.
mRELEVANCE managing partner Carol Morgan, and one of my favorite partners in crime, joins me during each of these sessions, and then has several additional sessions that she’s presenting with other industry professionals. In addition to Carol, we are bringing two of our other top team members, Mike Adamczyk and Laura Craft, from the mRELEVANCE team to help work the show with us. (I hope they bring their own gambling money!)
This year I will be inducted as IRM Chair, which will be an exciting step, and I am also looking forward to the many networking events and opportunities at IBS (and maybe even a little blackjack…it is Vegas, after all). Make a point to visit with us if you are going, we will see you there!
